Baker Memorial UMC has a diverse music ministry program. The two worship services on Sunday morning have entirely different music styles, with the early service led by the Praise Team in contemporary music, and the later service featuring traditional hymnody accompanied by the organ. Other musical opportunities include the Bells of Baker, the Chancel Choir, and the Joyful Sound Children's Choir. In addition, various soloists and ensembles provide special music and offertories at both services, with styles ranging from 15th century choral music to 21st century country and rock. The purpose of the music ministry program at Baker is to glorify and praise God, and to minister to one another by using the musical gifts He has given to each of us.
